Tamron Autofocus 28-105mm f/4-5.6 (IF) Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras

For the price this is an excellent lens but did a side by side comparison with my higher priced Tamron 2.8 17-55mm and there is a clear difference in sharpness and contrast so don't expect perfection. If you're extremely demanding then spend the money on quality glass, but if you're a casual shooter and want to save some $$ this is a good deal and great for every day photography.(see samples in the Gallery).

This review will be short and sweet. I used this for one of the first times today at an outdoor swim meet.I use a Nikon D200 with 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. I used the same camera/lens last summer, but without the teleconverter.Today is allowed to get shots of the great players in my upcoming teleconverter. The quality of the pictures was every bit as nice as the pictures I took last summer without the teleconverter.If you have the right lens, you want more zoom, I think the TC - 20E II teleconverter to recommend..

Tamrac Explorer 10 DSLR Camera Bag (Blue)

Bought this for my new Canon T1i with the kit lens and it suffices very well.Has enough room for extra batteries, memory cards, charger, filter kit and a few other small items.One thing I think this is a problem you cannot Fit any other lenses. I bought this because I didnt want to ding the brand new camera up while traveling, and i'm not one to carry around a separate camera bag...my friends would have a field day with this. That being said, if you have a lens bigger than a 18-55, I would think about going another route.To protect the camera kit, a very good case, but nothing to warrant a different size bags have large. .

I've read the other reviews and have to say, the one's that claim the image is bad quality or grainy need to go to school.Just read the manual and learn how to adjust the settings to the surroundings.Its a camera, not a cereal box ready to eat ..... it takes a bit of talent and practice to make a good video. I also have a laptop running 64 bit Vista and had no problems with the software, as well as on my 32 bit desktop with XP. I'm not sure what her problem was. Take the bad revues with a pinch of salt, these people probably can not tie their shoes right..

I accidentally dropped the camera into a large mud puddle while riding an elephant in SE Asia.Incredibly, after about 5 days of letting it dry and very gently cleaning the exterior with a Q-tip (as I was backpacking I didn't have the tools to actually open the camera) it still worked great.There is a small amount of dirt stuck in the LCD display but there is nothing to see it was abandoned around 12ft. and submerged in jungle muck for about 15 seconds..
